Knox's signature style of teaching takes you through a rigorous regime of conditioning and dancing drills meant to have you stage ready in your stilettos. Please bring: Heels you are comfortable dancing in, towel, water ELEMENTS OF CHOREOGRAPHY FOR BURLESQUE 3:30pm-5pm With a BFA in Dance Knox walks you through the elements that make for strong choreography for a burlesque stage. Part lab, part lecture, learn the ins and outs of creating movement and choreography custom made for your body and your style! Dancer Bootcamp Thursdays 6pm-7pm Known for her challenging bootcamp-style fitness class, Knox returns with her signature style of whoop-ass! Find your strength with this full-body training hour integrating ballet technique, yoga, pilates and weight-free strength training. Turns and Jumps Thursdays 7pm-8pm An hour long technique class focused on all fun tricks that can make your dancing pop! Learn about the biomechanics that make for successful turns and jumps, put them into practice, the test run them in short choreographic phrases. Technique focus is on ballet, jazz and contemporary. Whether you're looking to improve or brushing up on basics, this is a must for any aspiring dancer! Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate What to bring: Water, towel, jazz shoes optional.
Just Jazz Thursdays 8pm-9:30pm Get back to jazz! Learn the technique and style in this foundational class on all things jazz!
